Referees are an integral part of the game of Basketball – without them we will not be able to play this great game!

At CBA we encourage our junior players to pick up a whistle, assisted by senior referees. We mentor all new referees through our Green Shirt program that supports young and inexperienced referees in every way.

Our referee director organises the referee roster, arranges mentor placement, assigns referee coaches to courts and is a pivotal contact point for parents, coaches, players and the commitee.

The minimum age to referee is 12 years old.
